Haya I'm Amber

It's so lovely to have you here!

Born and raised in beautiful Motueka, New Zealand, I'm a proud mum of two, a huge animal lover, and someone who is truly passionate about capturing life's most meaningful moments.

Photography wasn't always the plan. Years ago, I found myself working in jobs that didn't inspire me and wondering what I was truly meant to do. I had studied photography at school, but at the time, I never imagined it would become my future.

Everything changed when my family moved to the West Coast New Zealand. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery and some of the most incredible sunsets I'd ever seen, I picked up a camera again and started taking photos of friends, family, and my dog. Before long, I was pregnant with my first child, and my love for photography grew even stronger.

When we moved back to the Nelson region to be closer to family and friends, I discovered a passion for newborn, family, and maternity photography. Capturing genuine connections, tiny details, and precious milestones quickly became something I couldn't imagine living without.

What started as a creative hobby slowly turned into a dream. Over the past seven years, through countless hours of learning, growing, and balancing motherhood alongside my business, photography has become my full-time career and something I feel incredibly grateful to call my job.

Today, I specialise in weddings, families, maternity, and newborn photography. My goal is simple: to create beautiful, timeless images while making you feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly seen.

I love getting to know the people behind the photos, hearing your stories, and capturing the moments that matter most. Whether you're celebrating a new chapter, welcoming a little one, or saying "I do," I would be honoured to tell your story.
